Dr. Lisa Hill

Dr. Hill has been providing high-quality small animal veterinary care in the local community for over 20 years. Dr. Hill believes strongly that exceptional veterinary medicine is a partnership between the doctor and pet owner, and she places a high value on clear, compassionate communication to help clients provide the best care of their pets.
Our Staff
Austin
Austin Davis joined Nease Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Technician in September of 2024. A Jacksonville native, Austin spent a few semesters studying in South Florida before returning to his hometown to pursue his passion for animals and medicine. This natural combination of interests made veterinary care the perfect career choice for him. Outside of work, Austin enjoys spending time with his two pets—a Staffy mix named Jade, adopted from Jax Humane in 2018, and a blind cat named Toph. Austin’s love for animals extends beyond the clinic, as he enjoys caring for his own pets and making a difference in their lives.
Amber
Amber is an experienced Veterinary Technician with nearly a decade in veterinary medicine and a strong foundation in animal rescue and rehabilitation. She began working with wildlife rescue and animal shelters in 2010, developing hands-on skills in animal handling, neonatal care, and transport coordination. She brings dedication, compassion, and a deep-rooted commitment to animal welfare in every aspect of care.
Jordan
Jordan is originally from Saratoga Springs, NY and grew up as an equestrian, skier, and lacrosse player. Family brought her to Jacksonville, and she has since embraced the southern life! She knew from an early age that caring for animals was what she wanted to do with her life. Growing up, she had many family pets whose health and wellness she always took an active interest in, along with an active role in her stepmother’s work with a non-profit feline rescue/TNR group, all confirming that this was the passion she wanted to pursue professionally. Outside of work, Jordan is a history buff who loves to read and enjoys time by and on the water. Jordan also spends her free time riding her horse, Boomer, and hiking or being a couch potato with her dog, Charlie.
Brooke
Brooke started at Nease Animal Hospital in April 2026. Brooke is originally from Tennessee and moved to Florida in December 2025. She has been in the veterinary field since her first job from taking a clinical internship class in high school back in 2012 and always knew since she was little, she wanted to work with animals and help make a difference in their lives. She is currently in the process of working towards getting her Veterinary Technician license and attends school online at San Juan College. The veterinary field has always been like home to Brooke. She is so excited every day to learn and to help patients overcome their illness and make a difference in their lives. The connection she forms with the clients and animals are what inspires her everyday! Outside of work, Brooke enjoys spending time with her daughter and family. She also enjoys going on walks and exploring all of the beautiful places Florida has to offer. Brooke has four cats: Pumpkin, Spice, Augustus Tuna, and Sparky and two dogs, Bonnie, a fox hound and Hocus, a Labrador Retriever mix.

Ashli is a Florida native with a lifelong love for animals. She is grateful to have been able to turn that passion into a career doing what she truly loves! She enjoys helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while supporting the people who love them. Outside of work, Ashli enjoys spending time outdoors, being in nature or in the water, and making memories with her loved ones and pets.

Ferrin does her best to provide exceptional care every day. In her downtime, Ferrin enjoys fishing, hunting, and going to the beach with her dog, Beau.
Carrie
Fueled by Herbalife teas, sarcasm, and a borderline concerning love for animals, Carrie somehow balances Navy grit, admin wizardry, and chaotic multitasking like it’s an Olympic sport. Equal parts organized professional and stray-animal softie, she gets things done efficiently – usually with fur on her clothes and caffeine in hand.”
